Annual vs monthly billing

Both Growth and Pro plans are available on a monthly or annual billing cycle. Annual plans are billed upfront and include a discount of two months free (equivalent to approximately 17% off):

  • Growth annual — £990/year (equivalent to £82.50/month, saving £198/year).
  • Pro annual — £2,990/year (equivalent to £249.17/month, saving £598/year).

You can switch between monthly and annual billing at any time from the billing portal. If you switch from monthly to annual mid-cycle, you will be charged the annual amount and your billing date will reset.

Upgrading your plan

  1. Go to Settings → Billing.
  2. Click Upgrade plan next to the plan you want.
  3. Select monthly or annual billing.
  4. Enter your payment details (credit or debit card) and confirm.

Upgrades take effect immediately. You will be charged a prorated amount for the remainder of your current billing cycle, then the full amount on your next renewal date.

Tip: If you are on Starter and approaching the 50 SKU limit, Salync will show a warning banner at the top of your dashboard. You can continue using existing products but will not be able to add new ones until you upgrade or archive old products.

Downgrading your plan

You can downgrade at any time, but you will need to reduce your usage to fit within the lower plan's limits before the downgrade takes effect. For example, if you are on Growth with 500 SKUs and want to downgrade to Starter (50 SKU limit), you will need to archive or delete 450 products first.

Downgrade requests are processed at the end of your current billing period. You will retain your current plan's features until then.

Managing your billing details

Go to Settings → Billing and click Manage billing to open the Salync billing portal. From there you can:

  • Update your payment method (card details).
  • View and download past invoices.
  • Change your billing email address.
  • Add a company name and VAT number to your invoices.
  • Switch between monthly and annual billing.

What happens when you cancel

You can cancel your subscription at any time from the billing portal. When you cancel:

  • Your plan remains active until the end of your current billing period. You will not be charged again after that.
  • At the end of the billing period, your account is downgraded to Starter (free). If your catalogue exceeds 50 SKUs, all products above that limit will be set to Archived — they are retained but inaccessible until you upgrade again.
  • Channel connections above the Starter plan's 1-channel limit will be disconnected. Your listings on those channels will not be automatically ended — you will need to manage that on the channel side.
  • Your data is retained for 12 months after cancellation. After that, it will be permanently deleted. If you resubscribe within 12 months, your data is fully restored.
Export before cancelling. We recommend exporting your product catalogue and reports as CSV before cancelling, as a precaution. Go to Products → Export and Reports → Export CSV.
