Salync started with a simple frustration: why does inventory management software cost hundreds of pounds a month and take weeks to set up? We built the product we wished existed — and made it affordable for the businesses that actually need it.

The problem we set out to solve

When you sell on eBay and Shopify at the same time, you have one shared pool of physical stock. But each platform has its own inventory counter — and they don't talk to each other. So you either spend your day manually updating quantities across two systems, or you accept that eventually you'll sell something you don't have.

The existing solutions to this problem fell into two camps: clunky spreadsheet workarounds that broke under pressure, or enterprise inventory platforms built for businesses ten times your size, priced to match. Linnworks starts at around £500/month. Brightpearl requires a sales call and a custom quote. Neither was designed for the UK seller managing 200–5,000 SKUs and wanting to get on with it.
