How it works
Set up your Meta catalog
In Commerce Manager, create a product catalog and connect it to your Facebook Shop and/or Instagram Shopping account.
Create a System User token
In Meta Business Suite → Business Settings → System Users, create a System User with Manage Catalog access and generate a permanent token.
Connect Salync
In Salync go to Channels → Connect Channel, select Facebook & Instagram, and enter your access token and Catalog ID.
Map your Retailer IDs
On each product's Channels tab, enter the Meta Retailer ID (usually your SKU). Salync keeps quantities accurate from here.

What is a Meta Catalog?
A Meta product catalog is a container for your products in Commerce Manager. It powers both Facebook Shops and Instagram Shopping.
Why use a System User token instead of a personal token?
Personal tokens expire after 60 days. System User tokens are permanent — much better for automated stock syncing.
Does Salync create product listings on Facebook?
No — Salync updates stock quantities on products already in your catalog. You create and manage listings in Commerce Manager.
What is the Retailer ID?
The Retailer ID is the identifier you assigned to each product when adding it to your Meta catalog. It's usually the same as your SKU.
Can I connect Facebook alongside Shopify and eBay?
Yes — that's the point. Salync syncs a shared stock pool across Facebook, Shopify, eBay, and every other connected channel.
